# Exporting a User Interface

User interfaces designed in Lucy, whether by you or others, can be easily exported as JSON files for seamless sharing and customisation.

## Exporting a User Interface

To Export an Existing User Interfaces as a JSON File:

1. On the app homepage, go to the **My Work** tab.
2. Search and click on the desired folder to open it.
3. Go to the **User Interfaces** tab.
4. Search and select the required user interface. Then mouse hover over it and click the **Edit** icon that displays.
5. Your user interface will open on the widget designer page.

7. Click the **Export Widget** button. The selected user interface will be exported as a JSON file.
