In your mobile app, tabs are the icons located at the bottom of the page that allow you to quickly switch between different pages.

Once the mobile app is set up, you can create pages and configure tab navigation. The default bottom navigation bar includes the Home and Settings tabs. You can customize it by adding more tabs as needed. When switching between tabs, you can configure the type of page that opens for each one.

Adding a New Tab to the Navigation Bar

To add and configure a new tab in the navigation bar of the mobile app

  1. On the Lucy web app homepage, go to the Mobile App tab. Mobile app designer page displays.

  2. Add a new Tab.

    1. On the mobile screen, click the navigation bar to open the properties panel on the right.

    2. In the Configure Tabs section of the properties panel, click the Add Tab button.

    3. A new tab will be added along with an icon in the bottom navigation bar.

    4. Enter a appropriate Name for the new tab (e.g., Feeds).

    5. To change the tab icon, click the icon and select an appropriate one from the Search Icons window.

    6. Type: Choose the page type to display when the tab is clicked: Section, Widget, and Custom Mobile Page.

    7. Click Save to apply the changes in the mobile app.

    8. Open the mobile app to view changes.

Customising the Page that is Opened upon Tab Selection
