This article explains how to adjust widget settings on your canvas. Some widgets offer unique customisation options.
Keep in mind that not all widgets offer adjustable settings.
The following is an image of the 'Yearly Water Consumption Budgeted vs Actual' widget. This widget compares the yearly budgeted water consumption with the actual water usage, showcasing the variance between the planned budget and the actual consumption.
As an example, we'll adjust settings of Yearly Water Consumption Budgeted vs Actual Widget.
Adjusting the widget settings allows users to personalise the data's visual representation, making it more relevant to their preferences or specific needs. According to the above example, you can alter the below properties of the chart:
Change the colour of the Baseline
Change the colour of the Cumulative Consumption
Change the colour of the Consumption
Change the colour of the Cumulative Budget
Edit X and Y axis labels
To adjust widget settings:
On the app homepage, head to the Gallery tab on the left sidebar.
Pick the Canvas from the Gallery.
If there is a list of Canvases on the Gallery, you can search for the specific Canvas by typing its name/partial name under Search Canvases.
Click on the required canvas to open it in a new window.
Click the Settings icon of the widget you wish to adjust settings.
Make the required configuration in the settings, e.g., changing chart colors and axis labels.
To save the changes, click Save.
Click Exit to exit from the edit mode.
Your changes will be applied and displayed on the widget.

On the canvas, click on the Customise icon on the bottom right to access its edit mode.
