Asset Configuration

After configuring the required location, the next step is to configure an Asset within the configured Location.

To configure an Asset;

1. Click the Forward arrows to proceed to the next stage, which is the Asset stage.

2. In the Asset Categories section, all available Asset Categories will be listed. If the required Asset Category is not available, click the Add button to configure it.

3. Use the Search facility to quickly find the required Asset Category.

4. Select the relevant Asset Category. Assets belonging to the selected Asset Category that are in the chosen Location will be displayed in the Assets section.

5. To view the Assets in the Child Locations of the selected Location, select ‘Show Assets in Child Locations’.

6. To configure the Asset; if the required Asset is available:

   1. Select the desired Asset from the Assets section.

   2. The selected Asset will be set and displayed under the Asset stage in the PC Wizard. The Asset stage will be completed and indicated with the tick symbol .

7. To configure the Asset; if the required Asset is not available:

   1. Select the relevant Asset Type of the Asset you are going to configure.

   2. Click the Add button in the Asset section on the right. “Add New Asset” window will appear.

   3. Enter a unique identification name for your Asset in the Asset ID field.

   4. The Asset Category will be automatically filled.

   5. Provide a short description of the Asset.

   6. The Asset’s installed location will be displayed automatically.

   7. Select the Operational Status of the Asset.

   8. If the Asset is movable, select the “This is a movable Asset” field.

   9. Click Add. Asset will be added and listed under the Assets section.

   10. The configured Asset will be automatically selected and displayed under the Asset stage. The step/stage will be completed and indicated with a tick symbol .

If you go to the iviva Asset app, you can see the Assets configured using the PC wizard.

After configuring the Asset, if you move back to the previous step (Location stage) and select another Location and then, confirm, it will reset the pre-configured Asset.
